Teva Guided Trail Hikes

Ready to hit the trails but forgot your gear? We've got you covered. Come stop by the Teva booth to sign up for a guided hike, win some giveaway items, and step into adventure with ease. Festival attendees can now test drive a pair of trusty Teva hiking boots, cushioned trail running sandals and durable water-ready shoes for the day.

Meet at the Teva booth in Vendor Village to get fitted for a demo pair. Stop by anytime starting on Friday at 4pm to sign up for the hiking time of your choice.

Whose Toes Are Those?

Sunday, April 27th at 4:00pm

Children will identify native animal tracks and have the opportunity to take home a sample of tracks. This clinic is recommended for ages 4-7. This clinic meets at Wildwoods.

Artists in the Wild

Tree Huggers

Friday, April 25th at 6:30pm

Learn about the benefits of trees, how to identify them based on their leaves, and how to tell their age. Attendees will be able to create and take home their own piece of nature. This clinic is recommended for ages 8-12. This clinic meets at Wildwoods.

Survival Paracord Bracelets

Learn the ropes of essential knots and when to use them, while making a survival paracord bracelet of your own. This clinic is recommended for ages 8-12. This clinic meets at Wildwoods.

Big Bang Boom Musical Performance

Join your child for a lively performance by Big Bang Boom, a dynamic power pop trio from Greensboro, NC. Known for their parent-friendly educational children's music, these seasoned musicians create engaging songs that entertain both kids and adults alike. Arrive early for a special DIY maracas craft - just in time for your little ones to play along during the show. This performance is open to all ages. This clinic meets at Wildwoods.

DIY Maracas

Saturday, April 26th at 1:30pm

In this fun and easy DIY maraca craft, kids will love making their own maracas using plastic eggs, spoons, and colorful tape. After decorating and assembling, they'll have fun, personalized instruments to shake and play. Perfect for using during the kid's concert that will happen right after with a performance by the band Big Bang Boom. This clinic is recommended for ages 4-7. This clinic meets at Wildwoods.

Deep Water Solo: Athlete Meet & Greet

Meet the athletes who will be competing in the Deep Water Solo competition. Posters for signing will be available while supplies lasts. All ages are welcome.

The meet and greet is located at the Deep Water Solo Complex.

Learn to Raft Guide

Sunday, April 27 at 12:00pm

Learning to guide a raft isn’t just for professionals. Get a taste of what pushing rubber is like in this introduction to paddling. Review skills such as guide positioning, basic strokes, and ferrying, complete with each participant guiding a lap down the Class III Wilderness Channel. The minimum age for this clinic is 16 years old.

This clinic requires a signed waiver and meets at the River Center. This clinic is capped at 16 people, and is first come, first serve.
