This bracket-style kayak race runs through the class III and IV rapids of the Competition Channel. Athletes compete in heats of three or four with the top two finishers in each heat moving on to the next round. The course requires athletes to navigate a series of gates and complete the channel as fast as possible.
The seeding round is Saturday 9 a.m.-11 a.m., and the Boatercross finals are Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
This is an invite-only event with a wildcard application open to the general public. Athletes will compete for a $10,000 cash purse. Meet the athletes here.
