Circumnavigating Sadler Island within the flatwaters of the Catawba River, this sit-on-top kayak race is a fan favorite. Participants race head to head on the 1.25 mile lap. Kayaks are limited, but are included on a first-come, first-serve basis. Racers will receive a paddle and PFD at the Flatwater Dock for the race start. There will be a mandatory pre-race meeting at 9:45am.
