The 5K Trail Race challenges runners on the South Main Trail. The course will guide you through the undulating hills of the Whitewater Center trail network, nestled along the Catawba River.

Tuck Fest 10-miler
The Tuck Fest 10-miler provides distance runners another opportunity to shine and Marathon Challengers a chance to bag some early miles. The first trail race of the festival, the Tuck Fest 10-miler promises to make sure you start the weekend right with piles of miles to your name.

Twilight 5k Trail Race
This race is perfect for avid and beginner trail runners interested in dipping their toes into the pool of night trail running. Start your run in the familiarity of daylight and race to make it back to the finish by nightfall. An illumination device (headlamp or similar) is highly recommended.

Tuck Fest Marathon Challenge
Multiple days and multiple races mean multiple opportunities to collectively cover 26.2 miles (or more) during Tuck Fest. Any and all chip-timed Trail Run events can be combined in any order to achieve the marathon distance and the Tuck Fest Marathon Challenge Award. Runners interested in participating in this challenge will need to select the timing chip option during registration for verification purposes. Prizes will be given based on completion of the marathon (or more) distance and not based on time.
Registrants must select the marathon challenge option during registration in order to qualify for an award. Those who complete the Marathon Challenge will be emailed details on award pick-up on May 1st.

Youth Trail Race
This 1K-ish race is the perfect introduction to trail running for any child. Active parental support and participation is encouraged throughout the course. The Youth Trail Race is for children 5-9 years of age who have registered for Tuck Fest races/competitions.

Quarter Marathon Trail Race
The Quarter Marathon Trail Race is perfect for those training for longer distances or those simply looking to enjoy a morning trail run.

Night Trail Race

Dog Jog presented by Outdoor Voices
The Dog Jog provides an opportunity for four-legged friends to get in on the Tuck Fest action. This is also the final chip-timed trail race of the festival and your last chance to score miles for the marathon challenge. Participants will run our Tuck Fest 5K course side by side with their pup through the Whitewater Center trail system. Dog owners must keep their dogs on leash and have doggy bags with them at all times.
