Learn to Raft Guide

Get a taste of what guiding a raft in whitewater is like in this introduction to Raft Guide School. Review fundamental skills such as guide position, basic strokes and ferrying, complete with each participant guiding down the Wilderness Channel.

Introduction to Top Rope

Learn top-rope climbing at the Climbing Center in this clinic for ages 5 and up. Instructors will go over proper belay technique, knot-tying, climbing technique and how to read holds.  

Partner Rescue with Pisgah Climbing School

Explore the technical skills needed to help a climbing partner and solve problems on the wall. This clinic is taught by IFMGA Mountain Guide Karsten Delap who is also the technical director of the Transylvania County mountain rescue team.

Tail Trail

An interactive, self-guided walk and scavenger hunt designed for dogs and their owners. Follow the trail, test your dog's skills and finish strong for a special treat at the end.
